Hair Masks 101: An In-Depth Lesson

Hair masks can get a bad wrap. They’re not as time-consuming or as messy as you’d think. Everyone’s hair could use a little TLC and hair masks are the most efficient and safest way to do so. Whether you need to brighten, lift or cleanse, your hair will be shining after each of these hair masks!

Application:

First, you’ll want to wet your hair before putting the mask on. You should plan on taking a shower after applying the mask. Next, combine the ingredients of your chosen mask. Then, apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair. Next cover hair (you can use a towel) and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Then wash out the mask. Finally shampoo and condition your hair. Apply the mask 2 times a week and rinse thoroughly to ensure no remnants are left over.

Ingredients:

Health and Shine
1 Egg
1 Tbsp. Honey
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise

Dry Hair Fix
1 Cup of Milk
2 Tbsp. Honey

Damaged Hair Fix
4 Tbsp. Aloe Vera Gel
2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil

Oily Hair Fix
½ Egg White
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

Frizzy Hair Fix
1 Tbsp. Yogurt
¼ Cup of Honey

Hair Growth
1 Egg
1 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
