Two local businesses are getting national attention later this month on The Early Show on CBS. Adrienne Kallweit, Co-Founder and President of SeekingSitters Franchise Systems, Inc. and Shannon Wilburn, Co-Founder and President of Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc. will be featured guests on special segment entitled, “New Year, New Career”. The series will focus on ideas to recharge your career in the New Year and this segment will provide information on starting a small business.
The Early Show Weekend Anchor and Business & Economics Correspondent Rebecca Jarvis will lead the “Roundtable Discussion” where Kallweit and Wilburn will share advice for starting and building a business, what to do and what not to do to be successful. The live segment is scheduled to air Tuesday, Dec. 27 on KOTV channel 6
“We are honored to have the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience as business owners to people across the country. I hope we can inspire others to follow their dream and start a new venture in 2012,” said Kallweit
“We have both learned a great deal over the years on how to successfully run and grow a national company – including what NOT to do. It is exciting to be able to share our experiences with the rest of the country,” added Wilburn.
Both SeekingSitters and Just Between Friends were also just named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 500 Franchises for 2012. Just Between Friends is number 240 and SeekingSitters is number 324 on the list. The magazine judges businesses by the following criteria: financial strength and stability, growth rate, size of the franchise, number of years in business, number of years franchising and start-up costs.
