Planning on staying home during Spring Break? Don’t worry, we’ve gathered two ideas to ensure that your children keep busy!
1. Drive-in Movie Theater
This will require a projector and a warm night, but it will give your child something to talk about once they return to school! Set up a large sheet as the screen, bring out bean bags and blankets, and sit back and relax!
To create the full experience, have your children make tickets, or man the snacks booth. Or, you can have a family dinner and move outside once twilight hits. This intimate experience can filter out all the unwanted noise that comes with the regular movie-going experience.
Get a head start on Carnival season by creating your own!
Personalization is the essential factor. Your child can have complete control over the entire carnival. Have him or her plan the decorations and games at the beginning of the week and then execute and build for the remainder. Have the carnival on a Sunday afternoon to round out the week of direction. Be sure to take plenty of pictures, as they’ll have much pride in their event!
