Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Rated PG

The sequel to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and based on the Rick Riordan novel of the same name, Sea of Monsters continues Percy’s adventures as the son of the Greek god Poseidon as he and his other demigod friends search for the Golden Fleece which will save a dying magical tree that protects their home from enemies.
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters will be released in 3-D and Real-D and star Logan Lerman, Nathan Fillion, Sean Bean, and Stanley Tucci.
Disney’s Planes, Rated PG
Releases Aug. 9
From the same studio that brought you Cars, comes Planes. It’s about a meek crop duster, Dusty, who dreams of racing but isn’t quite built to race and has a fear of heights. With the guidance of a naval aviator, Skipper, Dusty manages to qualify for the big competition. When disaster strikes during the height of the final race, Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test.
Planes will be featured in both 3D and Real-D, and features the voices of Dane Cook, Stacy Keach, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, John Cleese and Val Kilmer.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Rated PG-13
Releases Aug. 21
Based on the best-selling book series by Cassandra Clare, The Mortal Instruments stars Lily Collins as Clary Fray, a seemingly ordinary teenager who discovers she’s descended from a line of a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors who are sworn to protect our world from demons. Clary joins forces with a group of these warriors to search for her mother who has been taken from their New York City home.
The film stars Lily Collins, Robert Sheehan, and Lena Headey.
