It’s craft time and we want to show you how to use wine corks to delight the little ones! September is finally here and so are all of the last Summer’s wine corks. Even if you are a collector of corks, you will want to spare a few for these fun projects! The best part is the possibilities are endless. You and your little ones will truly enjoy these carefully selected crafts that we picked just for you! Not a wine drinker? Your local craft store has you covered! Snag some corks on your next outing.
The Wine Cork Tree:
We found this one on The Picky Apple blog, it is super fun AND super easy. You can choose to cut out the tree from brown construction papers and paste it in the paper or paint your tree on the paper with brown paint.
The Wine Cork Sailboat:
This is sure to be a winner with little ones of all ages. We found it at Mama Papa Bubba. Young ones will love to watch it float and older ones will love to build them. Did we mention this one is almost entirely “mess-free”… as if that was a thing, right?
The Wine Cork Ladybug:
These might be our favorite. To make this less messier you could stamp your ladybug dots ahead of time… but we think that’s the fun part! You could also keep a blow dryer near-by to speed up the drying process. Check out the story behind this cute craft at Crafty Morning.
The Wine Cork Stamp:
This one takes longer but is definitely reusable and should provide for hours of fun! You do a little pre-DIY to make the stamps before your kids come together to stamp! The possibilities truly are endless with this one. Check out how to make the stamps at DIY Candy.
Whether you choose to paint, build, draw or stamp you and your little ones are sure to have a fun time. Fall is about to start and what better way to kick it off than to bring the family together for some old-fashioned crafting.
